I started teaching Spanish at Saint Lawrence Catholic School in 2020. I was born in Saint Louis, Missouri, and I'm the fifth of eleven children in my family! I was a Jesuit in formation to become a priest from 1974 until 1984. Instead of becoming a priest, I married a wonderful woman and had three daughters. One daughter now lives in Muncie, the other two live in Missouri.
In 1980, I earned a Master's in Spanish and Latin American studies from Saint Louis University. I have taught Spanish in high schools and colleges for past 40 years. I moved to Muncie in 2011 to teach Spanish at Indiana Academy, and I retired in 2019. I love to play Pickleball, go cycling, and work on improvements to my 100-year old house.
