Uniform Policy

All students wear uniforms every school day. If children are allowed to wear something other than their uniform on a given day, such as a Field Trip or a Casual Day, you will be notified by the school. The success of our uniform policy is not only based on what students wear, but how they wear their clothes. Parents should make every reasonable effort to ensure that their child’s clothes are regularly washed, ironed and properly cared for.

The uniform for all students on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday is as follows:

Navy slacks

Navy shorts (allowed in months other than November, December, January and February)

Navy magnetic belt (boys), navy heart clasp belt (girls)

White or green monogrammed polo (tucked in)

Entirely black shoes (tennis shoes are allowed, must be entirely black including laces and soles)

Entirely white socks that cover the ankle must be worn

Monogrammed gray jacket (optional) may be worn during the school day

The uniform on White Shirt Wednesday is as follows:

Boys:

Same as above, with two exceptions:

White monogrammed polo shirt, not green

Entirely black dress shoes (may be with or without laces)

Plaid jumper for grades K-1-2 (skirt not allowed)

Plaid skirt for grades 3-4-5 (jumper not allowed)

Girls who wear tights may choose not to wear socks

Girls who do not wear tights or leggings should wear shorts under their jumper or skirt

Guidelines that apply on all school days, including Casual Days:

Hats are not allowed (except on designated Hat Days)

Makeup and false fingernails are not allowed

Large or dangling jewelry is not allowed

Shoes with heels are not allowed on any school day

Boots are never allowed to be worn during the school day

Each violation of the uniform policy will result in a missed recess on the day of the violation
