February 22, 2021Last Friday, our Casual Day brought in 52 cans of pork-and-beans and other items. Thank you for supporting Deacon’s Pantry!
This Friday is an eLearning Day. Students should not come to school, they will complete and submit their work digitally.
Starting on Monday, March 1, students are permitted to wear Schoolbelles or French Toast navy uniform shorts to school on non-Mass days. We have pairs of used shorts in the office for $3.00 per pair. Call Mrs. Waechter to see if we have the size you need.
Dan’s Fish Fry tickets and money should be turned in by Monday, March 1. If you do not turn in unsold tickets or money, the school will bill you for the missing tickets.
Our school was recently informed that ALL of our students are eligible for the Federal Free Lunch Program, retroactive to October 1, 2020. This applies to every child, even if the family never applied for Free/Reduced Lunch. Some families will receive a refund for lunches they have paid for since October 1. Refund checks will be issued by March 8.
Our Passion Play was originally scheduled for March 2. Please note that we will not be doing a Passion Play this year.
Since school was cancelled on February 16, we will be in session on March 19 (the Friday before Spring Break).
Each student will receive a free yearbook this spring. Families may enter “Shout-Outs” to be printed in the yearbook at no charge. Create your “Shout Out” using the link that I emailed on February 8. “Shout-Outs” are due March 1 and are limited to 100 characters.
Shop With Scrip order forms are being distributed today. We have added many vendors, including: Cabela's, Five Below, Hardee's, Journeys, Shoe Department Encore, Top Golf, Maurices, Buckle, Sally Beauty, Walgreen's, Barnes & Noble, Bass Pro Shops, Long John Silver's, Auntie Anne's Pretzels, and Chuck E. Cheese! As always, your purchase of Pizza King gift certificates results in a 100% profit for our school. Order forms and payment are due Monday, March 8, at 10:00AM.
