Due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases in Delaware County, our Movie Night is canceled for this Friday. We will have After-School care as usual. Hopefully we’ll be able to host our next Movie Night, which is scheduled for January 29, 2021.
December 6 is Saint Nicholas Day! On Friday, December 4, we’ll learn about this great fourth-century church leader, and each child will receive candy and a small gift.
Shop With Scrip orders and payment are due by 10:00AM on Monday, December 7. Gift cards will be distributed in plenty of time for Christmas. Remember, our school receives 100% profit on all Pizza King gift certificates that we sell.
We will have school Mass on Tuesday, December 8 (not Wednesday, December 9), so we can celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Friday, December 11, is an eLearning Day. Students should not come to school, they will complete and submit their work digitally.
Friday, December 18, is a Casual Dress Day. We ask that each student bring one box of pancake mix or one bottle of syrup (no glass) to donate to Deacon’s Pantry. Students and staff are encouraged to wear Ugly Christmas Sweaters!
Our school’s Christmas Break is December 21-January 4. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
All students who go an entire month with no Discipline Slips receive a free casual day. In November, 29 of our 42 students earned the free Casual Day.
All locations of Vogue Cleaners will give a 20% discount on dry cleaning our uniform plaid jumpers and skirts. They will restore the pleats as well. Mention “Saint Lawrence Catholic School” when dropping off your garments to get the discount.
