Students who go an entire month with no Discipline Slips, Tardy Slips, or Dress Code violations earn a free Casual Day. In February, 22 of our 46 students earned this reward.
SLCS would like to thank The Back-to-School Teacher Store for their generous donations of school supplies and classroom materials. In 2019, our school received $6,411.80 in free supplies (up from $3,824 in 2018).
All locations of Vogue Cleaners will give a 20% discount on dry cleaning our uniform plaid jumpers and skirts. They will restore the pleats as well. Mention “Saint Lawrence Catholic School” when dropping off your garments to get the discount.
Congratulations to our February Virtues in Practice recipients! These students represented Saint Lawrence Catholic School proudly by modeling Prudence (Making good decisions in specific circumstances).
Dakota Allen-Grade 5
“Dakota often makes good choices during school Masses when he is leading by example. He chooses to do the right thing by showing kindness to the younger students”. -Mrs. Cunnington
Tanner Mullis-Grade 2
“It is easy to get distracted by others during class. Tanner tries to sit near classmates who will not tempt him to be distracted and who will help him make good choices. Even though he would rather sit by his close friends, he knows that making this sacrifice will help him focus on his work”. -Miss Kline
Our March virtue is Respect (Recognizing the dignity of all people).
