Congratulations to our January Virtues in Practice recipients, Cheyanne and Frida! They represented Saint Lawrence Catholic School proudly by modeling Fortitude (Being brave and strong in the face of trials).
“Cheyanne came into a new school not knowing anyone and has worked so hard to catch up and has tried to involve herself in our classroom community. She has been very brave, even though I'm sure it wasn't easy to leave her old school” –Mrs. Brown
“When faced with challenges and obstacles, Frida continues to persevere and stay positive. The other day she had a real challenge that she had to overcome. She did not just give up. Instead, she was brave and faced it; then, she overcame it”. –Miss McGarvey
Our February virtue is Prudence (Making good decisions in specific circumstances).
