We will be visiting Mounds State Park on September 28. We will leave at 9;00 AM. We will return after lunch. There will be lunch at McDonals's. Your child will need to bring $2.00 for admission to the park and money for lunch. If there is a problem with this, please let me know. The students are to wear their green St. Lawrence gym shirts and jeans. A permission note will be sent home in the next few weeks.

Buck Wilder, an author, will be visiting our school on September 13. We will visit him in a room we will set up to look like a campsite. We are excited to have him come to our school. We will also have a special lunch that day with some other treats.

I think we are finally settled in to our new routines for school. Everyone is working hard to learn their states and capitals. We are studying animals in Science, Creation in Religion, and place value in Math. I am really enjoying this class.
